ahhhhhhhhh, i pulled my right delts yesterday. can't even lift my right arm. that explains why i'm online today at this time. any injury is a nightmare to a canoeist especially when it's the intensive training period.
our new k2 came yesterday- white with black lining. let's see who will take her virginity. hahaha.
anyway i was quite shocked to see someone from some school shouting at another school to get off the lanes so that they could start their sprints. walau, be nice be humble la.
time flies. it's friday already. next monday will be the pjc canoeing training camp. kinda looking forward to it. hahaha. hopefully i'll recover by then. this will be my 3rd camp already. and each time i go with a different role and a different feeling. this time will be a 4D3N camp, then we got something new and different- dragonboat on the last day.
sometimes we must take a step back and appreciate things around us. i'm glad that i'm given a chance this holiday to train so much. we didn't even have half of the water time for the past 2 years that we have now. this is how hard we've gotta train for what we want.
it is probably quite naive for someone to say that they want the team medal when they don't even realise that they are not training enough. you think it's so easy? saying is always easy. last year, our juniors had only pathetic 2 trainings at macritchie per week. so please appreciate what we have now.
i don't know why but sometimes people won't feel the pain unless they've been through it. they will never realise how precious can things be until they've got deprived of it. we must always think in other people's shoes, so that we can understand we can appreciate.
it's my mother's birthday today. yes, i appreciate her so i'll listen to her and rest for today. and and and celebrate her birthday as well. all readers wish her happy bday hor.
thanks to all batches of team mates/juniors/seniors for pushing and driving the team.
thanks to ex-coach present coach and teacher-in-charge ex t i/c for your guidance.
thanks to all my friends.
yeah and last but not least a big thank you to my gf who's always understanding and nice, thank you so much.
much of a thanksgiving entry. i remind myself not to be a bloodsucking leech. oh and thanks for reading.
